“Susan
sings with a musical intonation that is second to none delivering the highs and lows of a melody line with great passion,
warmth and confidence coupled with her bubbly on stage professional personality.
This
is a lady who's singing voice is easily at home either belting out a hot jazz favourite in true vaudeville style or delivering
an easy listening ballad in that intimate cabaret setting. For the shows that Susan worked with my own band it was always an exciting rewarding and thoroughly professional experience to have
her as our guest.
Fans
still talk about "Running Wild" the CD we made together. I would like to wish her every success for the future
and I am sure we shall work together again. I have no hesitation to recomend
this talented lady. .....

About the new CD, 'I Love Being Here With You'
Susan Valliant Speer sticks mainly to mainstram jazz choices in an intelligently varied selection of songs.
Her versions of God Bless the Child and I'm a Woman avoid the giant shadows of Billie and Peggy, the former
in particular perfectly tailored to Ms. Speer, while Ian Riley and Frank Griffith on tenor make hay with the bluesy treatment
of I'm a Woman. Always a poised and precises singer, Susan Valliant Speer moves from a swinging romp through
Just One of Those Things to a witty, kind-of-Hamlisch All That Jazz and a delicate and affecting When You
Wish Upon a Star (very sympathetic piano accompaniment) as a well chosen closer.

I Love Being Here With You has...tasteful
arrangements of ...great songs sung by Susan, who is obviously having a ball. She is accompanied by a select group of
professional musicians. So, whether you are a fan of Susan's from her 'Tradtional/vaudeville-style, just love her voice,
or like classy music beautifully sung, this is a recommended album. From a personal viewpoint, Susan is a new voice,
and the more I listened, the more I enjoyed her music.

What satisfied clients say about Susan -
Appearing for the first time at The Lansdowne Club in Luton, Jazz vocalist Susan Valliant
Speer enthralled a capacity audience with her scintillating performance. Her dynamic presentation of a broad programme
of jazz standards held the audience spellbound, clamouring for more and appealing for a repeat performance. I've
received nothing but compliments about the whole session. We'd love you all to visit us again, and I'll contact
you later when we have the Autumn schedule sorted.

Those fortunate enough to have attended the
first visit to the Club of Susan Valliant Speer will not need reminding what a great entertainer she is. Accompanied
by her own trio of top-flight musicians, Susan is able to carry off with panache any tune she chooses to sing. As capable
of touching your heart with a poignant ballad as belting out a show stopper, Susan's performance is a delight to the ear.
Opportunities to hear visiting performers of this stature happen but rarely - the American Jazz vocalist shouldn't be
missed.
